The beauty of DuoHeat is that it can operate as a single heater - just set to the comfort levels and leave it to work.
Alternatively it can operate s part of a whole house system, working in harmony with other heating types if desired.
It can be connected to the optional Dimplex central control timer which can be set to provide different temperature settings in different rooms, individually for each day of the week and across multiple zones.

For example in a family home, heaters in the living areas can be programmed to operate at full comfort temperatures during the late afternoon and evening, with heaters in children’s rooms coming on at 7pm and say 10pm in the master bedrooms.

Dimplex 4-zone wall mounted programmers provide the flexibility of complete system control from the convenience of a single point.

Each zone in the system can be individually configured with a custom 7 day time programme allowing complete flexibility over system design.

RXPW4 and RXMBS4 wall mounted programmers are compatible with EPX, EVS, RPX, Calidou and Apollo ranges of electronic panel heaters and DuoHeat radiators.

Dimplex DUO heat controls pilot wire
 Ref: SHD/DIMP/RXPW4

Pilot wire installations utilise an additional control wire linked between each heater.
This is a 240V live conductor, carrying a low current signal to activate the various modes on the heater electronic control.
Up to 20 heaters per zone can be supported (dependent on controller).

This system is ideal for new build applications as the pilot wire can be installed with the first fix wiring.
As heaters require no additional receivers, this offers a cost-effective means of central control.
